| - Yes, a star knocked off for the wait before the wait, especially for a non-platinum member, unwilling to pay an extra $25 per head to skip the cashier line - commoner.
You first have to check-in and get a ticket with your estimated time to come back and wait in line to pay the cashier, then wait to be seated after paying, then wait in line for your food (which I suppose, isn't as stressful but it's still a part of that dreadful WAITING process)!
The total wait was about 90 minutes for me and my friend, for dinner on a Monday night.
Stick to the seafood and meat.
Seafood-wise: The clarified butter + crab legs / shrimp combo was on point. My friend really loved the oysters.
Meat-wise: Bone marrow, prime rib and beef brisket were pretty delish.
Desserts (if you have room): Creme brulee, freshly made crepes, chinese donuts were my faves
Glad I was able to experience waiting, eating, but mostly waiting to get into this buffet. Would I do it again? Probably not, but I'd say go ahead and at least try the madness once.
