| - Third visit and last! Service, drinks, wine list are all on the plus side. Food, however, is another matter. A bistro which claims to feature a classically trained chef simply must do better. There is just no way this place can claim to provide fine dining! The ribeye, the filet, the hanger steak are best not ordered.....if you want beef go to Durants, don't come here. Fresh halibut should have no odor, should taste fresh and be prepared properly...again others do so much better with seafood. Lastly, the potato au gratin....an easy dish to prepare, made well by nearly everyone...but not here!....bland, partially curdled cream and cheese and a small portion one would probably not serve at home.
While the West valley is not a dining Mecca, there are many which serve tasty and appealing fare, unfortunately Vogue Bistro is not one of them.
