Worst ever!!!! If I could, I'd give them NO stars!
Recently I went in to get my husband's truck washed. As our truck went through the wash; it proceeded to drive by itself very quickly. Out of the car wash, uphill and jump the curb and crash hard into the bushes. The truck almost drove into oncoming traffic! The Freddys employees ran after it but could not catch it. The employees tried to put it in reverse and remove it from its crashed position which spun the tires and caused smoke & strange noises from the engine. They ended up having to call a tow truck.
The manager there apologized and told us this seems to only happen to trucks. That is why they put in two metal stoppers at the end of the wash tunnel, to try to stop the trucks from crashing. One employee told me this just happened to a new truck just a month prior. The manager also tried to call a mechanic they use to have my truck looked at, but they were closed. The manager then gave me their mechanic information and said for me to even go to my mechanic. She then told us to take our truck into the shop and bring them the estimate so they can pay for the damage.
We then proceeded to take our truck to the mechanic which has maintained our vehicle for many years and has all the records on it. The mechanic gave us an estimate for $2100 worth of damage that was never there before. We gave the estimate to Fabulous Freddys at that point we were told they didn't think they could've caused any damage after crashing my truck!
We then reported the damage to our insurance Co. The insurance adjuster told us the truck had to be left in drive and that the damage happened from this collation. My insurance has covered ALL of the cost of fixing my truck except my deductible and the Rent-A-Car I had to use the week I was without a vehicle. So far Fabulous Freddys has paid nothing for crashing my truck!
