  • I received a set of speakers for Christmas. Though it was a generous gift, (and I needed better speakers), I didn't want to install new speakers in an old car I'm looking to sell. Couldn't return them for cash, okay........could return for a store credit only. " Could I get a gift card?" "NO". Your speakers are your gift card, just come in and trade them for the merchandise you want." I was told this when I called..... okay.............What I was not told at that time was that I only have 30 days from the purchase date to do it ! After 30 days you are stuck with the purchase/gift. I was under the impression that I had time. I was told that merchandise changes and that the speakers that were bought 4 months ago would not even be stocked anymore! "Sorry, but we can install those for you for $75 a pair. Another store told me I should have been able to get a gift card within those first 30 days and that the return policies are on the receipt. My bad for not reading. Their bad for not informing me of any time constraints that I might not look for as the recipient of a gift. I felt a little duped and cheated of vital info on that first phone call! Buyer beware!
