They certainly do not live up to the name. Had an issue with my driver side mirror swiveling freely and not locking into place. There is a 5 minute YouTube video on how to fix the issue using a screwdriver, a rubber mallet, and a monkey wrench. Nothing else. Being concerned with damaging the paint on the mirror I figured I'd take it to the professionals. Set an appointment for 9 am, as I had a meeting at 9:30 and knew this would be a short appointment. After sitting in the waiting room for 25 minutes, listening to the banter between my service tech Dave and his buddy for their morning coffee talk. After he was done with that he met me 30 minutes late for the appointment. OK, so I'm already late for the meeting.
I took Dave outside and showed him the issue. After about 2 minutes of him B.S.ing about why he couldn't fix the mirror he said all he could do was give an estimate for a new one. No Dave, that's not what I asked for.
It's sad that an old man on YouTube has more auto body skills than a fully equipped shop. What a pathetic excuse for "Service Kings"
