This is probably my new favorite lunch spot in Aurora. The service is a bit on the slow side, but the food is well worth it. The sandwiches are hearty and they have some amazing options. The Italian is very good, I had a brisket that was meaty and tender, and their chicken salad is very tasty as well.
As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a small tray of samples which make it even more difficult to decide what to eat. I've only ever gotten lunch, but I love walking around and seeing all the cuts of meat and cheese options. Pretty soon I'll have to break away from my normal sandwich and start trying their salads and antipasti and other items!
Protip: they make their own root beer and diet root beer. You should get it with your lunch.
I'm super curious about the cheesy meatloaf sandwich and want to try their fresh pizza, so I'll be back soon!
Didn't want to make a whole new update because the rating is the same but FYI the sausage bread is AMAZEBALLS. Just saying. And the antipasti is pretty great (plenty of delicious pickled things!) but it could use a few chunks of cheese...
