| - MORROCAN FOOD straight feastin'! ;D
For $49.99 it was a full on 6 course fixed meal with belly dancers performing.
6 Course Meal:
-1. *Mediterranean Shrimp Scampi*: sauteed with lemon, wine and garlic.. gave the shrimp incredible flavors and was awesome for dipping the bread into the sauce
-2. *Harira Soup*: (Lentil, rice, lemon, & spices)- was good
-3. *Marrakech Sampler*-Hummus (garbanzo/ tahini dip), Baba Ghannouj (eggplant/ tahini dip), Moroccan olives, cucumbers & marinated carrots: awesome hummus, and carrots were too pickled for my taste
-4. *Beef Brochette* (Kabob)- stabbed in a pineapple, these grilled beef steak kabobs were tender & delicious! excellent presentation and flavor ;]
-5. *Royal Moroccan Couscous Platter with Djaj* (Chicken)- this came with variety of veggies, my favorite was the butternut squash in the mix and the chicken was juicy and delightful.. I was too full to eat a lot of it, but did taste it's goodness, MmMmm
-6. *B'stilla* (classic Moroccan pastry stuffed with bananas, nuts & chocolate. Topped with heaps of powdered sugar, cinnamon and served with traditional mint tea).. great dessert reminds me of a filled crepe and tasted light and fluffy
Ah this place is super expensive, but lots of fun!! With never ending food coming out, come here hungry and ready to grub! I'd recommend this for a change up from a typical dinner or maybe for a special occasion/celebration. They also have a full bar, specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.
They had 2 belly dancers the night I came: one thicker belly dancer and the second belly dancer was more slender and fit. Both were great and friendly which added for great entertainment with their music, decor, ambiance, and dinner crowds.
With my group that night it came to about $100 per person for food, drinks, and gratuity.
4 Stars for this exotic restaurant in Las Vegas.~ :)
