| - I've been so excited to try La Diperie with so many pictures on Instagram of Sweet Jesus, which I believe is a pretty similar concept. The shop is so adorable, with turquoise (my favourite colour!) walls and wooden furniture. It was at least 35 degrees outside, so ice cream was a dire need. There are full-length menus in the entrance area, where you can choose your cone size, dip, and topping. I opted for a small with fleur de sel and rainbow sprinkles. I was honestly so full by the end, so I wouldn't go for any of the larger sizes.
The service was wonderful. We got a seat on a bench in front of the cashier area, so we were able to watch them make every order. One of the employees looked up at one point and gave me a questioning look with a thumbs up, and that proved to me that customer service was a big aspect here (I of course nodded enthusiastically, ensuring her that we were thoroughly enjoying the ice cream). We stayed for around half an hour on a Friday afternoon, and there was always steady stream of customers.
With the size of each order, La Diperie isn't something I would opt for too often, but I loved having a treat on such a hot day.
