rev:text	Good work - Poor experience. The original quote that I made was for a 2020sq home, after I did the quote online I called Stanley Steemer to confirm that the quote was accurate based on the rooms that I had. I was told that if a room was over 300sq it there would be an additional charge and the hallway might be more depending on how long it was. The total was 5 areas upstairs and 5 areas downstairs.Those 5 areas upstairs included 3 bedrooms a hallway, which I ended up quoting as an extra room because it is a wide hallway but not over 300sq ft, and stairs. I ended up only doing the upstairs area because I was charged for 2 additional rooms. One of those rooms that was charged additional was the master bedroom closet and the other was the upstairs loft which they broke into two areas, a hallway and the loft, and I was also charged for a $40 fee for tile when their was no tile cleaned. Had I quoted the area incorrectly I would understand the change in price. However, the master bedroom and closet is not over 300sq, and the upstairs loft area/hallway is not divided by a wall or in excess of 300sq. In addition, and probably the worse part, the contractors that came to do the work were unprofessional explaining this to me, they did such a poor job and made the explanation so complicated that I caved and told them not to do any of the downstairs that I really wanted done and only finish the upstairs, they also gave me a really hard time about using a coupon. I only used this coupon because it was advertised to me when I called in! This was late Friday and I only called on Monday because I never got a receipt or an itemized invoice just to find out that they charged me incorrectly! The incorrect charges were from the downstairs area that was never removed and they charged the master bedroom closet as an extra room. Stanley Steemer did end up refunding me the additional areas. However, the experience was so poor that I would not recommend them.The lack of professionalism from the contractors, the inconsistency from the online quote/terms and conditions from the actual work performed and price charge does not allow me to effectively rely on them. Otherwise, the actual cleaning was good and took about 1hr.
