Located right across the street from the Quicken Loans Arena, this Radisson seems pretty centrally-located. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is about a 20 minute walk, but the West Side Market is not really walking distance.
Everything seems clean for the most part, except the carpet, which looks dingy. There's no pool but there is a small fitness center, complimentary coffee in the lobby in the mornings (that isn't bad), room service (which I didn't use because I'm not sure how good that really would be). There's valet parking for $16, or you can save a few bucks and park in the lot next door for $10 overnight.
The area gets pretty deserted at night so I'm not sure how safe it is, especially since we only went to restaurants within a two-block radius.
Checkout is pretty early - at 11, so this hotel really is just a place to stop and sleep.
