  • They might want to think bout changing their advertising campaign !! And that ain't no Bull!! My GF and I went there yesterday as she was looking to buy a new midsize car. The Ford Fusion seemed to fit the bill. We had just came from looking at a new Hyundai Sonata . The salesperson at Earnhardt was uninformed and didnt really "know his inventory". Please don't tell me that , well the inventories are so large that how could he possibly know? That's his damn job! He went to get a key for a car that happened to be "dead" as was the second car but alas the third car was a charm.....well at least it started . Oh ya. While he was back inside getting the keys for car number 3 his sales manager came out for a meet and greet. He explained that because these cars have so much electronics that's why the batteries in two out of three cars were dead! Listen up Sales Manager. That's probably not the excuse a person wants to hear while possibly purchasing a New Car. He said if they sit for 3 days sometime the battery goes dead. Unbelievable !!! The car didn't match up to the Hyundai . Both are American made and employ American people. Earnhardt has decided to price their car with a $1999 Market Adjustment . Sure.....lets just throw on another $2000 for Market Adjustment Pricing.....the Ford Fusion is not worthy of Market Adjustment Pricing. Cars of the past that were , were. The new Mazda Miata of 25 plus years ago. The Mercedes SL Class of 25 years ago. The PT Cruiser of past and the Nissan 300Z. These are a handful of cars that were in "limited supply" when introduced into the car buying market. Perhaps the latest Mustang with new body style was also but not the Ford Fusion! Earnhardt ! Wake up. Train your sales force not to be texting while on a test ride with customers ! Waste of our time and effort going in there. It cost $$$$ to get us in the door . Earnhardt lost money and our interest in ever going back into that dealership again. PS. I drive a 2011 Ford Transit with 260,000 miles which I drove there yesterday . You'd think that they would pick up on the fact that I was already a Ford buyer and work that into the conversation ? Nope. If there was a minus rating id be filling it out for this Ford Dealer
