  • Wow! What a treat! I was given a voucher for my birthday, and promptly booked in for a body scrub and facial. Then I found out that this got me access to the pools as well. Everything about the spa is gorgeous. The service was spectacular, with everything from the personal guided tour on arrival, to robes, towels and flip flops being provided for you. I was skeptical of the water circuit when I first arrived, but figured I'd give a go anyway. So glad that I did! I was genuinely surprised at how relaxing each of the pools was, especially when you combine them all. Then to be brought a shake when I was about to jump in the final pool - just bliss. Once I'd finished in the pools, I went in for my treatment. I came out feeling like a new woman, after being fully scrubbed and facial-ised. I didn't know what to expect going in, and must admit that being hosed down during the scrub made me feel a little like a beached whale. I would have preferred one of the shower heads on a hose rather than what felt like a garden hose, but all in all an awesome experience. Once you're done, they've thought of everything. The showers come with a supply of their body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and there's a room full of hairdryers and brushes so you're not walking out into the cold with wet hair. They even provide plastic bags to put your wet swimmers in. Loved my experience, and can't wait to go back!
