| - 1 star dosen't even begin to describe my horrible experience with this sketchy business/company. A few weeks ago me and my bf rented a car from this place for a few days, February 27 - March 1st to be exact when we got back into town we turned it in on Friday pretty late at night, We thought we had everything but it looks like i had forgotten my wallet in the rental car!!!!. About 2 hours later i had received texts and email alerts from my bank CHASE about my card possibly being used aka fraud! Went back to the fox rent a car place and asked the girl if anyone had reported a missing wallet she said no and even let us look around the car. YES the car was still in the lot so right away i already knew it had to be one of their employees, If the car had been rented out then yeah i figured it would have just been random people who took my wallet but that wasn't the case.
Next day my bf went to the rent a car place and let the managers know what had happened the night before, he told them where the person tried to use my card which was a shell station and a 711 (literally down the street from the fox rent a car place, again very obvious) The managers were able to track my card to the 711 where it was used, went themselves to see the footage AND afterwards they implied that my wallet had been taken by one of their employees! IF THEY KNOW WHO TOOK IT WHY NOT CALL THE POLICE AND GET MY WALLET BACK ASAP! Its been weeks and all i get from them is "we can't disclose anything, its an open investigation, were working on getting your wallet back, oh will call you when we find out more information" THEY NEVER CALL BACK! THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME BACK IN WEEKS! like what is taking so long? That friday when they told us they knew more or less who took it they told us they would have answers for us on monday, monday came and still no answers once again we would just always get the same answers from them like "oh will call you back, or oh we can't disclose anything you need to talk to him or that manager" again no answers. Very unprofessional and very shady
Up to today i still have no information over my missing wallet, its a very shady situation and i feel like Im dealing with some very dishonest people. Its been a very complicated time consuming situation, i have filed a police report and placed fraud alerts on my credit cards AND reports to social security. I am leaving this yelp review for future customers who ever choose to come here let me give you some advice PLEASE PLEASE DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!! And if you do decide to come here be very careful of your belongings and don't forget your stuff in the rent a cars when you return them because chances are you aren't getting them back.
