  • the 5 stars is for one of the managers here, Roman Miller. He definitely makes the gym as a whole better with his encouraging attitude, awesome (repeat AWESOME) customer service, and his personal training style. I signed up for the complimentary personal training which was offered and learned a lot, plus got a great workout in with a great trainer who encouraged me rather than like several other trainers I've had before who went with a more negative approach. I've heard things like "my grandma can run faster and harder than you" by other trainers in the past so Roman was a breath of fresh air. The first time he said "god job" to me honestly I was confused because I've never heard that from a trainer before. Maybe I've been stuck with bad people in the past, maybe that's how most of them are. I don't know nor do I really care, all I care about is how I was treated this time by this trainer. He knew what he was talking about and he definitely knew what he was doing. If you ask for him, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Yes some of these reviews are accurate with the broken equipment and free weights everywhere but I can't blame the staff when the clientele treats the equipment with absolutely no respect. If they hired someone just for the purpose of picking up and putting away the free weights, they would be busy their entire shift because I have seen first hand person after person just leaving their weights at the benches and walking away. If the members of the gym acted like adults and put their weights away that wouldn't be a problem. If the members didn't slam their weights as hard as they possibly could just to see who can make the most noise (which obviously means they lift more... riiight) the equipment wouldn't break. It isn't a management issue, it's a clientele issue. You can't blame a facility for not constantly buying new equipment when the clientele is just going to keep continuing to treat it like crap. So, recap, Roman is AWESOME, if the clients had respect for the equipment half of these reviews would be 5 stars, and people need to learn how to have gym etiquette and re-rack their weights. I have referred and will continue referring people to this gym and will now be referring them to Roman for personal training.
