  • I had my car impounded by Tempe police. Apache sands picked up my car on Saturday morning and per the courts I was able to pick it up Monday. Long story short, MVD has my legal last name, however the finance company has my previous last name when I was married. It took me 2 extra days to get my car out because the last name did not match, even though I had other proof of who I was. I could not change my last name with either place, as this was a legal last name change and I was no longer married. I finally had to get the police department involved to tell them to release my car, as they could not hold it any longer. To make matters worse, I had an extra cell phone in my car the day it was impounded and found it was stolen from my car. Given the headache I already had from them, I decided to "chuck it as a loss" as I knew they would come up with some "We are not responsible" BS. I will never use this company if I ever am in need of any kind of tow, and I hope I am never in a situation where it is picked up by them again.
