Osaka's a Las Vegas classic. It's been around since before it was fashionable to do this whole sushi thing.
Housed in an older building and older section of the city, the restaurant ambles backward in odd angles, but it provides for different seating areas. Up front is the sushi bar and traditional table seating, in the middle are Teppan grills, and in the rear are Tatami rooms.
Everything at Osaka is always delicious. The fish is always fresh and looks appetizing. I had some of the best tempura of my life here. The chefs are very accommodating with special requests. Once I attended a birthday party here with at least 20 - 25 people in attendance, all of whom were coming and going at different times, and the service was great. Everything was prepared correctly and everyone's separated bills were correct as well.
It might not have the pomp and circumstance that other newer sushi bistros do, but Osaka is a safe bet for delicious, fresh food in a comfortable environment with superb service.
