Definitely a highlight of my visit to sweet Madison. Walking with the crowd around the beautiful capitol building, enjoying it from every angle while checking out the incredible produce on display. This is North America's largest producer-only market apparently, and you can feel the pride busting from the seams and between the leaves. The baked goods are particularly awesome, with the biggest donuts I have ever seen, and an excited lineup of people waiting to get their hands on hot spicy cheese bread. It moves inside when it gets cold, so enjoy it during the summer and in the fall when it's extra gloriously gourd-filled.
