  • Anytime you can go to a museum for free, get free parking AND see a thought provoking exhibit is a major win. The permanent exhibit "Cotton Fields to Skyscrapers" is a look at the history of Charlotte. I learned a great deal about the city I now call home. The "Know Justice, Know Peace" exhibit was a face to face look at the 2016 riots and the tragic deaths of people of color by police officers. It's definitely worth the trip to visit this gem!
