Haven't been to White Oaks in a few years and gave it a try over Christmastime. It really was a great choice as the atmosphere is made for a winter dining experience. Dark woods, fireplaces, a view of the creek ravine made the setting just right for the Yule Tide season. Although the White Oaks has a large seating capacity, it is broken up into several intimate and cozy dining areas, including the bar. Food was good-excellent salad. The lobster bisque was very good and all the entrees were prepared well. Our service was excellent-the best service is never having to ask for anything, yet not intruding or interrupting the dinner conversation.
