  • Hesitant to pay to get to the highest point west of the Mississippi? THE SMART MOVE: Tell them you are going to Level 107 Lounge and take the elevator right up. If you're going to pay $15, you might as well get a drink for it! THE SMARTER MOVE: Go at Happy Hour (5-7pm, I think) and you get 2 for 1 drinks. (Actually 2 for 1 per person- don't argue unless you want a spitini.) Half price appetizers as well. THE SMARTEST MOVE: Get there in time for sunset for an unforgettable day end as the sun sinks below the mountains. (Sunset times run between 4:26pm - 8:02pm so check sunset times at TimeAndDate). Stay a bit longer and you can see the lights illuminate the desert floor as the sky darkens. DRINKS: The drinks can be hit and miss: mine was sweet and weak, but my wife's martini was great. So avoid the fancier cocktails if you're looking for a buzz. The less umbrellas, the better. Ella ella, ay ay. FOOD: Not a bad selection. We got chicken lollipops, which I liked, but my wife thought they had gummy skin (but she's not a wing fan). ATMOSPHERE: Unbeatable, of course. Aside from a mini-lounge pocket of tables and a secluded bar area, it's a small circular path about 7 feet wide with booths for 4 or window facing loveseats for 2, all with those knee-weakening views that made me feel a little uneasy and dizzy, but in a good way. At 107 floors up, I recommend it HIGH-ly.
