This is a great hotel. Almost everything about our stay here was perfect. The front desk was very helpful at check in. I booked a package that had early check in if available so they called to get me a room that was ready for us before the normal check in time. We ate at Cafe Bellagio for a late lunch/early dinner and it was really good. I had the burger and it was good. My dad had the turkey burger and like it. We went back for breakfast. We check out the pool area briefly at it was very nice. We sat up on a patio overlooking the pool having a drink. It was a great spot to relax in. This was one of the best stays I've ever had at a hotel anywhere not just Las Vegas. However I was not happy when I went to my room a half hour before my late check out to take care of some work that popped up and saw housekeeping in my room. She looked shocked that I was there and seemed to have no idea I was going to be there. The room was a wreck. The bed was pulled apart and she didn't believe me that I was supposed to be there. She had no idea what to say when I told her to open the closet and see that my bags were still there so I had to go back in. One only nice thing about this bad experience was that she asked to to put my key in the lock to see that it was my room and I could be there at 3:30. I always like that when they ask you to use your key to help keep you're belongings safe. Although it worked the first time she made me do three times before she let me get my stuff. I had told the front desk I would be using the late check out when I checked in the day before and verified it on my way to breakfast this morning. Still it didn't get to housekeeping. I also told her when she asked if we wanted service when she saw us in the hall in our way to breakfast. I wasn't super surprised that she went in but the state of my room was a shocker. I read online that a bunch of people who booked the same packed as me had housekeeping go in but promptly leave when they realized they were using the late check out. I'm not aware of anyone having their room torn apart while it was still theirs. I don't know but I suspect that she figured with a half hour left before I was supposed to check out I wasn't coming back and wanted to get my room cleaned so she could leave. What a way to sour an otherwise perfect stay. I'll be back and give the Bellagio another try but I hope I don't have the same issue because then I won't be back. Its not worth the hassle and frustration.
