| - This was my first time going to Thursday's. I went upstairs for Poutine week. From the description, the poutine sounded divine "Cromesquis de burger au bacon, Fromage en grains frais du jou, Frites, Sauce charcutière, Cornichon frit,
Salade de Chou, Rondelles d'oignons." The execution was mediocre at best. The only thing I mildly enjoyed in that dish was maybe the onion rings? The cromesquis was weird. The sauce was this lukewarm glaze that didn't give that satisfying poutine gravy kick so the cheese curds were unyielding and unmelted like they just went for a jog outside in January and then plopped onto the plate. With the fried pickles it was even weirder tasting. I ordered their strawberry gin cocktail. Concept sounded great, execution was poor. It came with a wilty mint sprig which made my drink look a little bit sad. There just wasn't enough crushed strawberry to really taste it. Drink was only meh for $14. Their entree bread however, is AMAZING, crusty and chewy all at once and with fresh butter--yum! I think if I had just the bread, it would've been 5/5. I'm sure they're a good resto but Poutine just ain't their calling. #poutineweekfail
