Whenever I come to Montreal from Maine/New York area, I always make sure to make a daily visit to this bakery. Their croissants are as good as the good ones in Europe, and fair superior to the ones in the States (for some reason, even if you go to a French bakery in New York City, the croissants are not the same). My top choices are: chocolate almond croissant, chocolate croissant, and the plain one. Their coffee is strong and flavorful, smoothies are made from individual frozen pouch with real fruits and vegetables. I also took a loaf of cheese bread back to Maine, and it stayed delicious after being toasted. I really want to try their rather pricey pastries next time. I wish they made them in smaller size.
