  • I had one of the best wine purchasing experiences recently at Metrovino. Richard greeted us and with a few words describing what we were looking for, he immediately had a couple bottles in mind of what we may enjoy. I loved the way he described the back story of the wine's origin,the makers, as well as the flavour profile. He was also sensitive to the price range we were looking at. It's always refreshing to meet someone who obviously loves what they do and doesn't make you feel intimidated by their vast product knowledge. We could have stayed there another half hour at least chatting with Richard if we had the time. He was that warm and friendly. Bonus: metrovino being attached to the Cookbook Cooks space! So many treats available to compliment your bottle of wine.
