WHO KNEW Las Vegas had 5 star ramen?! I didn't!
Holy cow, Monta's Tonkatsu ramen was the one of the best I've ever had, rivaling Daikokuya in Little Tokyo. The tonkotsu LITERALLY melted in my mouth and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The broth was so stinkin' rich that I surrendered after eating only half of the bowl - the girls that I went with did the same. We were all in disbelief at how good it was - really, not being dramatic, though the fact that some of us were mildly hungover might have something to do with it...
Anyway, the ONLY downside is that the place is not suitable for groups larger than 4-5, but the waitresses were still accommodating when I went with a group of 10. Monta will definitely be on my list for my next Vegas trip if I'm not up for a Vegas buffet or I'm not feeling bad enough for some pho down the street.
