  • Need a hotel that is kid friendly, knows your name (mainly because you are there a little too much) and will teach your kid French (maybe an exaggeration). This is the spot. We've gone more than half a dozen times in the past year and they know who we are when we drive up by now, the babysitter at the hotel has worked there for 30 years and is like a sweet grandmother who you just can't not trust. The hotel suites look beautiful- cleaner than I could ever get a room and very updated. The bathroom fits a small pack 'n play- if you are a parent, you'll understand why that is HOTEL GOLD. I try to stay away from the mini bar, I do, but the prices are reasonable and the salted cashews just the best (I don't care if that is all in my head, I LOVE THEM, stop judging). Le Societe is the room service restaurant and you may notice there isn't a kids menu, but fear not, they are amazing and will make you (I mean your child....okay, and me) whatever you need. The staff is well dressed (I'm not saying the room service guys are really attractive... I'm just alluding to it) and housekeeping is really sweet. When I was pumping after just having my son our housekeeper graciously helped us mid pump and even told my husband how much work that is- I will love that lady forever. The jet in the large spa tub is a little piece of heaven and if you spring for a suite, you can fit two people into one. Just do it. The vanity stool is also a favorite of mine because to be honest, I'm a fan of sitting in the morning- standing seems like exercise and that's not my thing at the crack of dawn. The crack of dawn is what many parents call sleeping in (that's for those wondering who in their right mind wakes up that early while away for pleasure) Also, for the kids, Bob the Bricoleur, is hilarious in French. Even if you don't have kids- have a glass (or bottle, or bottles) and watch it. I promise you a laugh. As frequent guests we have always been upgraded which, no matter how many times it has happened, always feels like winning the lottery. Also don't miss the coffee machine in the lobby- better than Tim Hortons (don't hate me for that, I'm American- plausible deniability or something).
