A solid three stars, but that doesn't mean that I would ever stay here again. I came here once for a Caribana party in the rotating restaurant and had a good time, so I guessed that staying there wouldn't be bad. It wasn't terrible, but my husband has now spoiled me with hotels I think, and this one just wasn't cutting it. There were few bathroom amenities and the ones that were there, were of poor quality - very drying on the skin.
The service was mediocre at best and often times a little haughty - as if there were some special 5-star hotel or something. Valet was terribly understaffed for Halloween weekend and the lines were out of control all day long for the entire weekend. Even the elevators were incredibly slow for more than 30 floors of guests.
I would give it two stars, but I have to say the view of the Harbor from our room was incredibly beautiful and it was in a great downtown location. Still there are way too many better hotels to stay at this one again. Not all Starwoods are created equal, I am learning. I did run into Troy Aikman there though. That was cool. lol!
