  • This is a very solid Starwood offering nearby to the Pittsburgh airport. My wife and I stay here frequently when arriving on later-night flights for visits to her parents, who are still an hour-plus from the airport. So, it makes a nice waypoint for onward visitors. The hotel itself is a nice refurbish of an older hotel, and they have done a good job of adding some comfortable touches. The beds are up to Starwood standards, and that is the real key for me in an airport or otherwise short-stay hotel. The new Sheraton Club room is a nice addition, though it does not measure up to the ones abroad, particularly in Asia (not that it should or that I expect it to!). I have always found the staff to be universally nice and helpful, and it's a pleasure to be greeted by a friendly face after a long day of travel. This hotel does everything well that you would want from it, making it an excellent choice for travelers on their way in or out of Pittsburgh.
