  • While I am usually reviewing hotels and restaurants, I checked out Alta Rose on Yelp before having cataract surgery there. The review was 100% positive and went on to tell about the caring staff, the cleanliness, the anesthesiologist, the follow-up and the general professionalism of all those involved. After my procedure, I must say that this effusive praise was not overstated. The surgery was uneventful and the recovery swift, certainly nothing of concern for anyone apprehensive about someone doing something to their eyes. Of course, having an excellent ophthalmologist like Dr. Helga Pizio was perhaps the most important part of the process!
