I grew up coming to this bank with my mom and opened a checking/savings account after my 18th birthday!! At the time it was Nevada Federal Credit Union. In the beginning it was free but now I'm being charged $5 a month for a reward program where you get 0.05% back. You can choose to not participate in that program and the $5 fee will be waved so long as you do so many card transactions. I think the number is 16. Over the years I've had a few overdrafts and the word is they will reimburse 2 a year. In the past 13 years I've had a few and almost all of them reimbursed, but they've denied me any more in the future! BOOO!!! I like being able to deposit in the ATM. I've been using this feature since I opened my account when you used to have to put the money in an envelope. Never have there been any lost cash or discrepancies! One of the newer machines that count the money jammed with 18 one hundred dollar bills! It was 7am on a Saturday and there is no representatives available outside of business hours!! So after stressing 2 days and borrowing $100 from my mom (that I had to deposit in another ATM) to be sure not to overdraft because that's just what I need now)I get there Monday morning as they open and a man had just lost the same battle with the ATM! Thankfully they immediately credited the entire amount! I'm not sure if that was on my word alone or they had already received the evidence report that showed the money there! I've done 2 credit builder loans that were very helpful in repairing my credit! They were very simple to start! I will continue banking here probably forever!!
