  • I have never been so disappointed with a provider as I was with Dr. Smicker at this office. He was completely unprofessional. My eyes were irritated from the glaucoma test as well as being irritated from wearing old contacts. He "diagnosed" me with pink eye and refused to examine my vision because he said it wouldn't be an accurate test due to having "pink eye". I tried to explain to him that I thought my eyes were irritated as they were not red before my appointment. He refused to listen to anything that I said and became very offensive and unprofessional towards me. As a patient, I would never expect to be treated that way. After my visit, Med Express confirmed that Dr. Smicker misdiagnosed me with "pink eye". The store manager asked if I wanted to come back and see a different provider. I will not be going back to Vision Works after that experience. This matter will definitely be escalated on my end. Hopefully this store will find better providers that are more qualified and can treat patients with respect!
