  • I am glad to see other people have had a good experience here. I did not. I really wanted to like this place. Like really. I love the 16th St. and Bethany Home neighborhood and I wanted to support this place. I walked in to the store wanting to buy a freshwater plant and fish for my tank. As I entered, the staff was deep in conversation with a customer about politics. Some of the comments being made made it awkward, but I continued to browse the salt water tanks anyways. The customer left and the 3 staff members were standing behind the counter. Not one person ever acknowledged my presence or asked if I needed help. Maybe I forgot to take my Cloak of Invisibility off? I was standing in front of the freshwater tanks for a few minutes badly wanting to like this place. At this point, like the dead goldfish floating in the tank, I was a goner. Only as I was leaving did the gentleman acknowledge my existence and told me to have a good day. I was dumbfounded by this... They could have had business and even may be a repeat customer. I would have been better going off to PetCo as at least the teenagers there ask if you need help.
