  • I find it humorous that they decided to call this place the Professional Barbers as I can't think of a name that would be less fitting. I used to be a regular customer of this business as it was conveniently located in my neighborhood. I am now more than happy to drive right past it to another barbershop a few miles away. I refuse to put any money in their pockets. The unfortunate incident I encountered involved the son of the owner who is also a barber there. I was at the shop for my morning haircut when the son decided that it was an appropriate time for him to start berating the young lady who was cutting my hair. Not only did he not stop when I asked him to take up his personal issue at a more appropriate time but he continued to the point where the girl was in tears and literally ran out of the shop. Now here I am sitting in the barber's chair halfway through a haircut and my (female) barber just ran out of the shop!!! Not only was the timing inappropriate but the topic was not business related and TOTALLY unprofessional. After the girl, who happened to be very nice, ran out of the shop I turned to the guy and literally said, "are you kidding me?". This guy couldn't have cared less. After a few minutes, when it was clear that she was in no shape to finish a haircut and refused to reenter the shop, the father came over and finished the haircut. After all this there were no apologies offered and no accommodations made to make up for this unbelievably awkward experience. As I stated earlier, I refuse to put a nickel of my money into the pockets of these people. I only wish I caught this on video as I guarantee that anyone that would have seen this would never step foot in this establishment again. This shop should be renamed the Unprofessional Barbers!
