  • I just had the worst experience here. I can always tell by the chairs in a lobby is the place will be any good. FAIL!! I did miss an appointment with them yesterday. I was referred here by a pain doctor. I called today to talk to the physical therapist about what he can do because I've had such bad luck with therapy thats connected with the healthcare system. First off I was on the phone with the physical therapist for about 10 minutes earlier today talking about my neck pain. I decided to make an appointment to come in later in the day. I get there they charged me $40 copay right off the bat and I used my debit card. Then I waited for about 25minutes before I even saw Shane. When I saw Shane he said to me he couldn't see me because the referral stated back pain, not neck pain. I am experiencing both back and neck pain and right now the neck pain is worse. Either ways. It's connected. I am also a licensed massage therapist. I'm not sure what the hell these doctors are learning in school but it seems it doesn't matter because they've all taken a vow to the crappy health care system instead of their patients. What a waste of a medical degree to do all of that and know what you know. then to get out of school and not actually be able to follow through with what you know because you are tied and bound to a healthcare systems protocol wording and pretty much alot of bull$hit It doesn't take a genius or a medical degree to know that the neck and back (spine) is all connected. "The hip bone's connected to the back bone The back bone's connected to the neck bone, The neck bone's connected to the head bone, Now shake dem skeleton bones!" Either way he wouldn't budge on his policies he's bound to by the healthcare system. I asked him when I was leaving his place straight to his face. "You do know this as a doctor that they are all connected. The neck and back?" His place is called SpineScottsdale ?!?! wtf? He literally turned around and walked away. So on top of this now I have to wait 5 business days for my refund they robbed from me practicing shady business that doesn't concern patients. It's all about the money and the healthcare system for this guy Shane. I found Shane lacking compassion. He's too hung up on policies and procedures he's been dictated to by the system he's caught up in. I'd like to have a doctor who works for the patient and helping them no matter what. if you are good at your job insurance shouldn't get in the way of you helping people as I know many practitioners that help those without insurance or weird wording on a referral. If he cared he would of done something to fix it instead he shut the door on me within a couple hours of him telling me he could help me. I'd like to find a doctor that works and cares for the patient more than then healthcare system. That's enough proof to me you are in it for the money and your patients are just dollar signs. If you're looking for compassion this is not the place!! This place is caught up in a broken system. Everything you need is on youtube. and it's free.
