I really like this store. It is clean, organized, and has good selection and most of the staff is friendly. I also like the coupons you get when you donate, the 50% off tags, and the discount days-- all things Goodwill doesn't offer. I would have given it 5 stars except a cashier made a rude comment to me today when my 2 year was having a melt down, (which is often what happens at the store with 2 year olds). Once he started to cry, I went straight to get in line and leave the store as quickly as possible, doing my best to comfort him and remain calm. There was no need for rude comments about my parenting or what they perceived I was doing wrong. I also heard another staff member make a rude comment to another mom with a crying toddler a couple weeks ago. I felt so bad for her and embarrassed for the employee that she didn't care she was being so rude and negative! We moms are doing the best we can and I hope the staff will be a little more compassionate. I also asked a staff member for help with figuring out if a suit case I wanted to buy had a combination to it's lock because I didn't want to buy a suitcase that can't be opened. She replied, "I don't know," and walked away. Not the best customer service. But I have been treated well by many of their other employees. I will go back, but I just wish they were a bit better with the customer service and the compassion when toddlers cry.
