  • This is exactly what the middle of Southend was waiting for! A beautiful shop with a spacious patio for any of your beer or wine needs. They are very dog friendly (outside only - thanks stupid health department) they even have a basket full of toys to keep your pup entertained! No detail was left unturned in this shop. Outlets and USB charging stations can be found inside and outside on the patio. The chairs are a departure from the backless, industrial bar stools found in the rest of Southend. From comfortable padded bar stools, a table you'll wish was in your kitchen, and a couch inside, you can relax here. The seating options are just as varied outside. Traditional tables and chairs under umbrellas, a large outdoor sectional, and a wicker set perfect for larger groups. Inside there is a shelf full of games and coloring books - entertainment for everyone. The best surprise comes from the foosball table disguised as a coffee table!! Now that you can know you can get comfy here let's talk about the amazing selection! The selection on their 24 taps is incredible and hyper focused on the Carolinas. This is one of the most unique things I have come to enjoy about Pop The Top. They also have several selections of wine by the glass, including local NC wine! If you're just there to grab a 12-pack of bud light and head to the pool, no problem. Alcohol not your thing? They have a selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well! My favorites are the Bai collection! Everything in the retail section (with alcohol) is to-go only. I hope this changes in the future but for now, there are 24 amazing tap handles and wine that await!
