  • This course is gorgeous. The whole experience was very good for me - from the treatment in the pro-shop, the bar, and most importantly the play of the course itself. I was visiting Vegas and not used to how nice the desert looks, etc ... I spent a lot of time on this course taking in how beautiful everything was. I lost a ton of balls too since I tend to hit the ball into more exotic locations off the fairway. The staff advise you to not go get your ball when that happens due to scorpions and other nasty stuff that could get you in the sand. Ever watch Dune? I stayed on the grass. I was using rental clubs there (nice set of Titleists) so I didn't mind the concrete bunkers they had in some places. I am sure these were supposed to be like sand, but they were more like gravel road/concrete. No problem though - not my clubs :) I would love to get back out to Bear's Best next time I am in Vegas. Great experience!
