Probably one of the worst run Residence Inns we had the bad fortune of staying at.
Pulled up for our stay after long drive late Friday night and no one was manning the valet out front. After calling and trying to flag help for about half and hour then a gentleman finally came out to help move some cars so we could pull over and unload with some degree of safety. Mind you this is a valet service this hotel charges $50 a night for. If you have any complaints to the front desk about Valet which we had a number of, they try to play on your sympathies by saying there is only one valet on duty which only speaks the the extremely poor management. Even at check out our car want down when requested and Geraldine kept blaming the fact they only had one valet on duty. Monty the manager was too busy on the phone with his GM during peak Sunday morning hours to have anything to do with it. We finally asked the valet again for our car after waiting over 30 minutes and he has no idea what we were talking about. He brought the car Around quickly so this entire wait was completely avoidable with any level of decent communication or a half way decent management team.
All weekend the same typical issues with elevators broken, poor communication, somewhat abrasive front desk service from Geraldine and everyone happy to blame staffing issues for problems taking ownership over correcting issues.
Can't blame the staff when it's such pervasive and clearly management driven issues.
Simple solution is to avoid this Marriott location.
