| - Seen several shows here, awesome venue, great shows. The food is alright and the drink list leaves a lot to be desired (as a beer drinker).
My only real beef with this place is every one working there thinks they are God's gift to the service industry. They are a venue that damn near refuses to sell tickets to their own shows, if you go in to avoid the $12 online "convenience fees" and ask to buy tickets the bartenders will literally just walk away and tell the other bartenders not to bother with you until some unwitting server happens by because that is apparently their responsibility and it is clearly beneath the bar staff. Happens every time. The servers have no clue how to actually sell tickets and when they finally figure it out there are still processing fees because they are acquiring them 3rd party. It will take you no less than 20 min, 15 of which is just standing awkwardly at the bar waiting for the poor server that ask you if you've been helped, to buy tickets to a show. Half way through trying to sell you tickets she will walk off to tend her tables without a word to you and, if you are lucky, hand you off to another server that walked up to tell her she's got a table. Every. Single. Time. I've never in my life seen a venue that can't, physically can't sell tickets to their own shows. And if you ask why you are paying an additional $5 for $20 tickets AT THE VENUE there's a guy server who clearly thinks he's still a bouncer at whatever the last shit hole he worked at is, who is more than happy to get in your face SUPER aggressively about it and tell you you can fuck off and try to buy your tickets elsewhere if you don't like it. Not even sure where that guy came from or why he was eavesdropping and interrupting but you'll know hes there for sure.
The venue it's self is awesome and the shows are legit, food is pretty good but not impressive and drinks are small venue drinks, but the entire staff needs a refresher course in customer service and you should be fully prepared to pay about 25-50% more than the falsely advertised ticket prices (depending on how many you buy) because they don't even handle their own tickets IF you have the patience to repeatedly flag down staff members until you get one that will actually do there job. Pretty much has been the same experience just eating dinner there when I did eat the fees and buy tickets online. The wait staff is very much the "fly by" type who doesn't have time for you, doesn't care to answer any questions about the menus, don't know the beer lists and has no problem making it clear they have other shit to do than deal with you.
You want to pay hiked, falsely advertised prices for a show and not deal with the staff, this is the place for you. You want to buy your tix at the box office to get (close to) the advertised price and grab a bite and a drink before the show I'd not get your hopes up.
