  • My friends and I ended up here after checking another nearby restaurant which had a long wait (not surprising on a Saturday night). Added to that the other restaurant was too loud for extended conversation. Despite the heat we took the risk of sitting outside at the Tipsy Cow as the bar area where they had seating was also noisy. It worked out well as it was starting to cool and there was a nice breeze. We had a very friendly server who gave us space to chat and consider our orders. He was also very attentive to our water glass levels throughout our stay which was essential on a hot evening. They had a lot of different food and drink specials which all sounded good. There were three of us and we decided to each get a different taco dish which we then shared so that we each had one of each kind. They were all delicious and we were happy with our sharing idea. We would have lingered except that dark clouds were rolling in and rain seemed imminent. I will be back should I find myself downtown hungry and/or thirsty!
