  • Bought a new bike here and was very satisfied with the bike and service. The biggest plus was that they had the appropriate size and color bikes I was interested in, in stock, and the bikes I tried out were tuned up perfectly for the test rides. Store is also spacious and clean (kind of refreshing if you've been to Budget downtown, which is the opposite). While I know Erik's in general isn't technically "local", it's still a midwest-based chain and that's good enough for me. I also like the Specialized bike brand in general - nice to have more options than the ubiquitous, kinda-boring Treks you see all over the place. Only downside is that the guy who checked me out (after a good experience with the test ride guy) was just a tad bit awkward. Might have been new.
