| - As a California native and being spoiled as a kid with all the attractions and theme parks Cali has. Having a daughter of my own, I find it challenging to take her out for fun in Las Vegas due to the limited kid attractions. And Circus Circus does not count either.
The Magical Forest truly captures what holiday spirits are all about. What I loved about Magical Forest is the atmosphere - the excitement on every kids face. Not to mention my own. I was blown away by the sight of all the festive christmas lights, gingerbread houses, enchanted carousel, a huge mechanical pig donated by Bellagio, and etc. I felt as if I were in the North Pole like the Santa Claus movies. hehe.
For rides, we rode the Forest Express train that takes you on a tour around the whole 2-acre property. It was nice to be able to see the many creative masterpieces, especially in a more easier and quicker way. Choo Choo! The Magical Maze was pretty neat. I followed my daughter to see if she knew how to get us out safely without any help. And she did. Last, the Alpine Slide, my daughter's top favorite. My aunt and I got nervous by the time it was our turns to go up next thinking we would break it. We ended up holding hands before getting pushed down the slide! So much fun.
I do encourage everyone to wear thicker sweaters because the lines can take awhile waiting for the rides. Also, I recommend eating dinner before or after since they don't sell food except for funnel cakes. However, do buy a cup of hot chocolate ($1.50) to keep your stomach warm and happy.
Until next year!
