This place is awful! I took in my bike (that was a birthday present) to see if I could have some work done to make it more urban road friendly.
When I first went in I was greeted by a pretty nice guy but once he realized I needed the service department he turned me over to a surly service girl. I explained what I was hoping to have done and she just stared blankly at me. Finally she asked me where my bike was and to bring it in. My bike was outside so I went to get it. I struggled with trying to open the door (it pushes in) and get my bike inside. She made no attempt to help me at all. Actually no one did, they all just watched me look like an idiot trying to pull my bike through the little door.
Once she saw that my bike was a cruiser it became very clear she had no interest in helping me. She said they only deal in serious bikes (or something like that) and that there was nothing they could do. I asked her three times before she finally agreed to lift the bike up and actually have a look.
I left without any suggestions/solutions as to what to do and felt completely mocked and judged. Later when I told some friends they all said they had similar experiences!
In summery, this place might be good if you meet their snobby "serious cyclist" criteria but for the everyday cyclist STAY AWAY!
