The veterinarian here is a scam artist. He is only concerned about taking your money and he has no concern about your pet what so ever. The building that his offices are located in is filthy, in disrepair and falling apart. It should be condemned and torn down.
We took our dog to him because her paws were red and blistering because her nails needed to be clipped. Without even taking a tissue culture he told us she had a staph infection. He then wanted us to bring her in for 2 injections a week for an indefinite period to build up her immunity system and gave her an expensive prescription. He also said our dog was overweight and tried selling some expensive diet dog food. He really tried to swindle us into spending a lot of money on unnecessary treatments and expenses.
His negligence may have been responsible another one our dogs passing away a few years ago. He said she had diabetes. He didn't monitor her condition accurately and was very inconsistent in the doses of insulin he gave her.
When our uncle to his pet to see him a few months ago, he actually fell asleep in the examination room while doing the examination. Apparently he was on some medication that made him drowsy. If he wasn't 100% healthy and on some medication that impaired him, he should not have been seeing patients in the first place.
If you love your pet and want it to be with you for a long time, take it to another veterinarian!!!
