I really enjoyed stopping at Hitchhiker. We had heard about the brewery before but never had a chance to visit it.
It's a small little place on Castle Shannon Blvd. and can be easy to miss if you're driving by. They had a parking lot behind the building; so, we had no issues finding a place to park. There is street parking available, as well.
The brewery is pretty small; so, if it's busy, it can be hard to find a spot to sit. However, the small nature of it adds to the aesthetic and actually makes it a warm and cozy place to hang out. Luckily, a party was leaving as we walked in and we were able to grab a table.
I ordered the Stranger Than Me gose and it was really tasty. Goses can be hard to execute; so, I was happy that this one was enjoyable. We also ordered Deconstructed Arithmetic and Bane of Existence which were also good.
One suggestion would be to fill the holes in the wooden spools they use as tables. Since they're open holes, it's easy to accidentally tip your glass if it lands in one.
Overall, it's definitely a great brewery to check out if you're in the area.
