| - I have frequented 32 Shea for years now, going back for the food and the laid back vibe. Unfortunately, I have had horrendous customer service experiences the past few times I've gone. Being that I serve tables in the area, I have quite a bit of patience when it comes to these things, but my experience today was absolutely unacceptable. Called the restaurant to put an order in ahead of time before work this morning. The girl on the phone seemed to be confused when I ordered the bagel and lox, thinking I wanted the lox as well as another bagel- fair enough. A misunderstanding is one thing, but the tone she gave me was appalling. Although being a little turned off at how I was spoken to, I headed over to 32 Shea to eat my quick breakfast. Upon arrival, I go up to pay for my order and the male cashier very rudely explains to me that they are out of the lox. Okay, then why didn't the woman who took my order know that? And why is it that I am being presented with an attitude when you guys messed up? Was given no apology, just the option to order something else instead- which I didn't have time to wait for. Waste of my morning, would have just eaten something quick at home had I known. Take phone numbers next time if employees and kitchen don't know how to communicate food count.
