| - I don't think you can really expect to find authentic Vietnamese food this close to Old Town, but they do a fine job here. Everything I've had here is good. I did have an appetizer with shrimp and sweet potato (if I remember correctly), and it was a little greasy for my taste, but still not bad.
Part of what I love about Noodles Ranch is their ability to provide fast and tasty take out. They package it right, so it's still hot and fresh by the time you get home. This may not be a big deal for most people, but when you live so far away from civilization, like me, this is an impressive feat.
The Service is always good, and often interesting. I wanted to know if their coconut water was fresh once, and you should've seen the look the server gave me (hilarious!!!). They must not get that question very often. Another time, the owner gave me a history lesson on the origins of Thai iced tea. Call me a nerd, but I dig stuff like that.
