  • I should have known better as I looked at many of the Yelp photos submitted on here where there was nail polish all over the cuticle - looking again now to write my review I see a few were taken down - but anyway, the place grabbed my attention by Groupon for a gel mani and spa pedi. Walking in, the place was dead on a Friday afternoon - not a good sign. The pictures make it look much cuter than it actually is in person. I was escorted over to look at the vegan nail polish. The idea of vegan nail polish is great, but it leaves a scarcity of colors. I settled on my colors and went to the pedi stations. As others have mentioned the chairs are cute, but not functional. I was engaging my abs to ensure my chair wouldn't roll back the whole time. The technician was super sweet, but also super slow. I actually decided against going through with a gel mani in part because she was so slow and in part because I wasn't sold on the gel colors. The pedicure paint was fine, lots of polish on my cuticles but she cleaned them up after. It's about 3 weeks later and I just removed my polish for a color change and I'm horrified! One of my toenails has contracted fungus and another is totally bruised from how hard the technician pushed back my cuticles! Or I hope it's just a bruise at least! The other toes have horizontal pressure lines. I get a pedicure about once a year when I'm feeling lazy because I'm just as good, if not better than salons, so I know this fungus isn't from another salon. Also I typically wear sheer colors so I would have seen something brewing if it had started from another cause or place. I've NEVER had toenail fungus. I'm disgusted. Buyer beware.
