This store used to be great. Used to have very helpful and friendly staff. Until recently. I'm not sure what changed but they have been nothing but issues lately. My issues first started when I bought a new midi keyboard and got it home and it was used and wouldn't let me register it because someone else already had. This was annoying since I was charged the full price and not the used price. I took that back and got a refund. Then I purchased a cajon. I waited for 45 mins in the drum area to even get any help as the staff walked by and kept saying I'll be right with you. The store was not even busy. Then a young man from the keyboard section was sent to help me except he didn't know anything about drums at all. He helped as much as he could but it was a very stressful experience because I went to guitar center to have an expert who could answer my questions I had. This young man was nice but could not answer any of my questions. I bought a cajon anyways and left the store kind of frustrated that I blind purchased something because no one knew anything about any of the instruments. Then I got home and opened the box to find the wrong cajon. Needless to say I am livid that I now have to drive back AGAIN to mayfield. I will take my business somewhere else next time for big purchases.
