I grew up in Peoria & had come to Brothers as a kid. Now 20 years later my hisband & I moved back to the old stomping grounds & I really wanted him to try Brothers. I am being very generous by giving them a four star review & only did so for the older gentlemen that went around the tables pouring coffee. We never once had an empty cup & he was so sweet. As for our server.... she never greeted us or made eye contact w/ us, or smiled, or thanked us or even seemed to acknowledge we were there. I wish the food would've made up for it. I got the breakfast burrito & after the 3rd bite realized there was something funky tasting inside. I couldnt pin point it but it was not good. Bad ham? Eggs? Something tasted like it was rotten so I coundnt eat the rest. It was a shame, I really wanted this to be our new weekly breakfast joint. At least the prices are cheap.
